BMW GS Trophy Day 8 – The End

by James Pratt
November 21st, 2010

After 8 days and nearly 2,000 km of riding in the wilds of South Africa, Swaziland and Mozambique, the contests were back at the main camp near Johannesburg and the final tests. This day was spent doing slow-speed trials-like tests, which was good for Team USA. The slow skills test allowed them to move up from 7th to 5th in the final standings. Team UK won a tight race with Team South Africa, besting them by one point to take first place.

Today the teams are heading back home with great memories and new friendships. We look forward to bringing you a more detailed story in a future issue of Adventure Rider Magazine.
